A video of a dog who approached a pharmacist for help with her injured paw went viral this weekend. The stray dog, who scavenged for food in Istanbul, stood at the door of the pharmacy and seemed to be begging for assistance using her expressive, brown eyes.
The pharmacist, Banu Cengiz rushed to the dog and noticed her paw had been bleeding. In that instant, the dog put her paw in Banu’s hand. She treated the pup’s paw, applied a soothing salve and administered antibiotics.
“Ouch! My paw hurts. Can you fix it?,” the pooch seemed to be asking Banu as she carefully lifted her painful paw into the woman’s outstretched hand.
The dog has recovered and loves to rest in the pharmacy; Banu has been an animal lover for a long time and has always been ready to help.
