Surrendered dog heartbroken after family left her at shelter

Her heart broke – family surrendered dog after 7 years

The heart of a seven-year-old dog broke on the day that her family took her to a busy Texas animal control agency and surrendered her. Her name is Honey and the betrayal of her family has left her confused, frightened and sad.

Imagine what it must feel like to be left by your family at an unfamiliar place full of other scared and unwanted dogs? Imagine the confusion…and the overwhelming sadness. This is Honey’s reality. Please take a moment to share her plight and help her find a foster home or adopter who will save her life.

Of note: This is the animal control agency which is so slammed with incoming pets that there is an hours long wait. All homeless pets at this facility are in need of help.
