Help: Gentle soul Liam found wandering the streets of Houston

Meet Liam; he’s only a puppy and found wandering the streets of Houston in the most heartbreaking condition.

“His skin is itchy, red and inflamed. His face is covered in scabs. His paws are so red and swollen, it almost appears he doesn’t even have paw pads! We can’t imagine how much pain he is in, but even so, we can tell he is a gentle soul with those sweet blue eyes,” the volunteers from Houston & Harris County Animal Volunteers wrote on their Facebook page Saturday afternoon.

Volunteers have named him Liam, which means strength. No one knows how he ended up roaming the streets in this condition, but he needs help.

Please share Liam’s plight. He will need an approved rescue organization to save him, and they will need funding for his care. Considering his condition, this puppy, thought to be only a few months old, will require extensive veterinary care.

Sometimes no matter how long we have been doing this, there are cases that bring tears to our eyes. This is one of those cases. We are calling this poor dog Liam, which means strength because at only a few months old, he is in absolutely horrific condition. His skin is itchy, red, and inflamed. His face is covered in scabs. His paws are so red and swollen, it almost appears he doesn’t even have paw pads! We can’t imagine how much pain he is in, but even so, we can tell he is a gentle soul with those sweet blue eyes. We don’t know how Liam got into this bad of condition on the streets of Houston, but we know he needs our help. For a rescue group to save him, they will need funds for his care since rescue groups run entirely off of donations. Considering his condition, he will require extensive vet care that is costly. Heartbreaking…… this precious treasure has suffered so much during his short life.

Prayers from California that he heals, is adopted into a loving furever family where he will be a beloved and treasured family member……

The rescue angels will take great care of this angel, but they “really” need help.
Please spread the word and donate, if possible.
