A heartless person dumped a Jack Russell puppy in a clothes recycling bin in Leeds, United Kingdom on New Year’s Day. The defenseless little one was found behind a pharmacy in Moseley Place on New Year’s Day.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, the puppy, now dubbed Levi, because of the jeans he had been cuddled inside of the bin, is slowly recovering from his frightening experience.  Obviously the puppy didn’t get into the dumpster himself, and the RSPCA is asking the public for help identifying the person(s) involved with this animal cruelty case.

“Levi is an unneutered male, black and white, and thought to be around eight months old,” the RSPCA posted. “He doesn’t have a microchip so we’ve been unable to find out any information to locate a previous owner.”

Anyone with information about this Jack Russell puppy is asked to contact the RSPCA at 0300 123 8018.

Levi is very fortunate to have been found. Maybe he was a present for Christmas and sadly the person who was lucky enough to have been gifted with such an adorable little companion, lost interest. We know better days are ahead for Levi.

  1. Levi will find a forever home with pet parents who love him. Instead of dumping him in the trash, how about dumping him in a shelter. He would have had a chance the be adopted at such a young age. Hope he finds someone he can connect with.
