For days, a young dog had been left dying in the gutter on the side of a street. The Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation had been contacted by a student in the area who reached out to the organization for help.
No one knows exactly what happened to this dog, but her nose had been cut off, and one of her legs had been broken. She cried out in agony, and who could blame her? On Thursday, this innocent victim of abuse, neglect and cruelty was rescued.
Tragically, she died an hour after arriving at the emergency veterinarian hospital. The organization posted the heartbreaking update Saturday morning:
“All those days she spent suffering on the street. Her nose cut off, leg broken. She was found next to a gutter trying to take a drink. All that darkness of the Earth, and to die there after that suffering.
No hope. No name. No family.”
This has been a difficult week for the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation. Some of the worst animal cruelty cases have been found and sadly the dogs were too weak to survive.
“I just hope in the end, they were not alone. And knew at least that someone came.”
We join in our sympathies to these rescue organizations all over the United States and abroad. Our hearts go out to the beaten, abused and neglected. We will never stop fighting to save lives.

The disgusting cruel POS who hurt this precious little treasure MUST be found and locked up forever (only way to keep all of the rest of us safe), only leaving prison in a pine box. This POS will burn in Hell forever for their cruelty…… hope they get there ASAP after dying a horrible death alone, afraid, in pain and (worst of all), unloved…..

As sad as it is that this precious treasure died, at least she knew loving care during her final hours instead of dying alone, afraid, in pain and unloved…..
