Animal control agencies are hard for any dog, but at 15 years of age, the experience is even more daunting. Old bones, tired eyes and fading hearing all combine to make the situation incredibly difficult. An elderly dog named Kovi has been living at the Los Angeles County (Downey) animal control facility since Sept. 24, and she needs to leave.
An advocate writes:
It is heartbreaking to see any dog in the shelter but to see a Beautiful 15 Year Old Senior like Kovi #a3622158 is extremely heartbreaking💔
Kovi is a total Sweetheart.
Always happy to see you, happy to go for a stroll, and always happy to sit next to you in the shade and just chill.
This girl is potty trained, smart, has some pep in her step🐕
Kovi retirement years should not be in a loud shelter in a kennel but in a Loving Home, being Adored, Cherished, Loved, getting scratches, soft treats & food, soft cozy beds, and just relaxing!
You can help this senior dog find her retirement home by sharing this article, with her adoption information. Find Kovi’s Petharbor link here.
