A handsome, senior German shepherd is being held at the Lancaster Animal Care Center in California…is he too old to be loved? Of course not, but nobody seems to be overly interested in offering him a new home.

The eight-year-old dog has been at the animal control facility since October 27 and there are very few comments on his social media threads. It wasn’t long ago that the dog, dubbed Gunnar, was a chubby little bundle of fuzz. Now he is grown and his fur has turned to gray, but inside he is the same dog that he was years ago…albeit a bit slower moving.

Will you please help this gray-faced senior find his way to a new home?
