The owner of an Ohio grooming salon is facing felony animal cruelty charges. The accused woman, identified as 63-year-old Theresa Taylor of Bryan, is charged with two fifth-degree felony counts of animal cruelty for allegedly abusing dogs at her grooming business.
As reported by The Toledo Blade, the alleged abuse was captured on surveillance video at Theresa Taylor’s Grooming business. The damning video shows Taylor shaking, hitting, and choking dogs at her grooming business – the surveillance footage, dated August 29, was turned over to the authorities by a former employee.
Taylor’s husband, Philip, is also facing cruelty charges for allegedly killing four dogs at the couple’s home during a domestic dispute. The dogs, including a therapy dog which was being boarded at the residence, were all shot. In July, Theresa filed for a divorce.
