Two puppies are safe and receiving care thanks to a good Samaritan who took the time to help when he saw them being dumped by someone in a car. The Delta Humane Society of Louisiana expressed gratitude for the man’s efforts in a Facebook post on Tuesday, writing:
Just when we think only a few people in our area really care enough to make an effort, we get a wonderful surprise. Tonight we were contacted by Richland Parish Sheriff’s office when a Good Samaritan saw these two puppies being put out of a vehicle.
Outlining the effort the man made to provide help:
He made the effort to get pictures, get the license number and confront the person operating the vehicle and get HIS PICTURE.
Thanks to the good Samaritan’s efforts, deputies were able to retrieve the puppies, and interview the witness. Thanks to his photos, the authorities will be interviewing the registered owner of the vehicle, and hopefully, charges and/or an arrest will be made.
