When a good Samaritan discovered a stray dog wandering through a cemetery in Lackawanna, New York, on Monday, she called animal control for help. The woman expected that the dog would be picked up and prevented from getting hit by a car, but the responding officer did something that broke her heart, and infuriated her.
As reported by WKBW News, animal control officer Fred Grasso responded to the area…watched the dog walk around for several minutes, and then shot the dog twice. The woman who made the call stated that, “It wasn’t aggressive.”
The officer who fired the fatal shots claims that the dog was rabid – but officials have stated that the dog can’t actually be tested for the deadly disease because of the “nature of his injuries,” which likely means that he was shot in the head because rabies testing is conducted on the brain.
The news agency reached out to the animal control officer for a statement, but their request for more information was ignored.

Another case of an out of control cop. He “claims” that the dog wa rabid. There is NO WAY that officer could tell if the dog was rabid just by watching him. These cowardly assholes are just looking for an opportunity to use their weapon and get away with it. Coward doesn’t begin to describe that SOB. He should face charges for animal cruelty but his superiors will undoubtedly cover up for him and nothing will ever happen. Try this – find out where he lives and post flyers all over his neighborhood telling everyone what he did. If some recognizes him out in public, call attention to him and inform everyone in hearing what he did. Hound him everywhere he goes. Make him pay!
