Some dogs just have no luck. A gorgeous, eight-year-old German shepherd named “Rasco,” according to her card at the Riverside Animal Shelter in California, has been waiting for her family to take her home since August 13. And she waits and waits. She has a microchip; she has a home, but no one ever came.
A volunteer at the shelter tells her sad story on Facebook hoping to find someone who will help.
“Rasco” is the name on this girl’s kennel card. Her owners never came for her, even though she has a microchip. In our opinion, Rasco doesn’t seem like a very fitting name, and certainly not feminine enough for this magnificent beauty. We decided to call her Raquel. Raquel is a senior shepherd, currently housed in the adoptable section. Please share.”
