A four-year-old “gentle giant” is said to be past urgent at a busy Texas animal control agency. Fred, a bull terrier mix, with an adorable heart shaped nose, has been at the Corpus Christi Animal Care Services facility for 42 days and he desperately needs for someone to save him.

On Saturday afternoon, Focus on Furever issued a Facebook plea for the at-risk dog:

FRED IS PAST URGENT.

I’ve been at the shelter for 42 days! I need to have today be my last one! I want and need someone to love.

Our gentle giant Fred is still look for his forever home.He is a 4 year old bull terrier mix.

Fred, who apparently loves baths, is described as the “calmest boy you’ll ever meet,” and he is “squeaky clean” and waiting for his new family. Please consider helping Fred out by sharing this article! Networking saves lives!!

You can find him at 2626 holly rd from 1-530.
