Four young thugs, about 10-years-old, were spotted by a passer-by kicking a hedgehog around “like a football” -breaking the defenseless little animal’s spine and legs the RSPCA has reported. The animal was found in Preston, Lancashire and rushed to a wildlife rehabilitation facility.
The animal advocacy group has appealed to the public for help finding the four boys following the attack in Gough Lane on Sunday. The kids, dressed in black, were spotted kicking something before running away.
The hedgehog was taken to Preston Hedgehog Center in Savick, Ashton, but had to be humanely euthanized because of the severity of its injuries.
“This poor hedgehog was still alive when he was brought to us with terrible injuries and must have been in incredible pain. It is so sad to think what he endured,” stated Mark Allison who runs the rescue center.
Investigators are reviewing area closed circuit videos in the area for clues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the RSPCA. Just two weeks earlier, another hedgehog was found and had to be euthanized after a firework had been attached to its head and set off in nearby Longton.
Why would anyone be this inhumane or want to hurt defenseless creatures? Let’s find the kids responsible and get them some help.

Get them some help? The kind of help they need is to have shit kicked out them, then shove a large firecracker up their ass and set it off. If that doesn’t do the trick, resume the beating until they’re gone. That’s my kind of “help” for these SOBs.
