In O’Fallon, Illinois, a fire on Saturday evening destroyed a farmhouse at Randy’s Rescue Ranch which housed elderly, disabled and terminally ill dogs. All of the dogs made it safely out of the building.
According to Randy’s Rescue Farm Facebook page, the farmhouse (Katy Favre house hospice and disabled dogs) was completely destroyed.
“Tragic news, the farmhouse is on fire and totaled. Please thoughts and prayers. And please stay away from the farm for now so firemen and police can do their jobs. Heartbroken and completely devastated. All dogs are out and safe.”
Randy’s Rescue Ranch began as a horse rescue in 2017 and has become a place for dogs terminally ill, old and disabled from Stray Rescue of St. Louis. The program includes helping people with special needs connect with the animals. Kindness knows no boundaries.

There have not been any reports released as to the cause of the fire.
