Finch, a German shepherd mix, is only three-years-old and he is already a death row dog. It’s a terrible designation for a pup in the prime of his life, but sometimes life is anything but fair.
Judging by Finch’s worried face, he knows that he is in trouble. On Christmas Eve, the Facebook page, Networking Now, writes of the danger that Finch is in:
Finch isn’t having a good Christmas Eve. He is just 3 yrs old, and in a shelter preparing for all of the post Christmas owner surrenders, he’s going to have his life stolen. Finch is quiet & kind in his kennel, and is going to lose his life for “frequently shifting weight off of the left front paw when standing”. Please help us share him for an adopter or rescue with space before it’s too late.
Finch as been at the Riverside County Animal Control – Riverside Shelter in California for over 30 days and the time behind bars has taken a toll.
