A Colorado family is desperate to find their dog, who vanished when their SUV was stolen in downtown Denver. As reported by KDVR News, one-year-old Lily was inside of a 2008 Honda CR-V, parked on Lawrence Street, when someone stole it on October 21.

Shane Meronk had parked the vehicle and briefly went inside of a business – when he came back, the vehicle was gone. He tells the news agency, “”I looked up and my car was gone. And my first thought was: ‘Where’s my dog?'”

On the lost dog flier with PawBoost, the family describes what happens:

Our car was stolen outside of a building on Lawrence Street in downtown Denver with Lily inside. It was a 2008 black Honda CRV with ski racks on top and pink beast cancer license plates. White with liver markings. Purple collar, ears have round spots on the lower lobes resembling earrings. Please bring her home.

  1. IT’S BECOMING MORE AND MORE PAINFULLY OBVIOUS
THAT PEOPLE ARE PUTTING THEIR PETS AT “SERIOUS RISK”
BY LEAVING THEM ALONE IN THE VEHICLE!
