On Thursday, Darcy was brought into the Harris County Animal Shelter covered in blood. It is not known what happened and her medical notes at the shelter have yet to be updated.
“…At the time we called, she hadn’t seen the vet yet, so we can only speculate about what happened to her. We don’t have video footage, but wanted to get her picture out there so she can be networked,” a volunteer from the Houston & Harris County Animal Volunteers posted on their Facebook page.
Darcy is three-years-old and has tested heartworm negative. She was picked up in the area code 77032. Does anyone recognize her?
The dog needs to be checked and treated by a veterinarian as soon as possible to care for her wounds before they get infected and to diagnose any other injuries she may be suffering.
This DOG – ID#A547116. I am female. I look like a tan Welsh Corgi – Pembroke. The shelter staff think I am about 3 years old.
