Twinkle, an elderly dog at 14 years of age, has spent most of her life homeless. The mixed breed dog is currently kenneled in Houston, Texas, and waiting, like she always does, for someone to call her their own.

The Forgotten Pet Advocates stated:

SENIOR “Twinkle” is 14 YEARS OLD! She is in a kennel waiting for a HOME or FOSTER! This precious girl was rescued from a closed down Sanctuary, where she spent most of her life. Her past hasn’t been that great but he future will be!

Twinkle’s personality

Twinkle is described as a loving dog, who gets along with everyone. More about her personality:

Twinkle is very laid back and wants to do nothing more than to be loyal and love her human. She does great with other dogs. This Gorgeous girl needs a soft bed and someone to love her. She is super gentle and affectionate.

  1. This has become a sad realization of OUR UNITED STATES!!! It is no longer the “Land of the Brave and Free” and for the most part people just don’t give a Good God Damn about anything Let alone Homeless Pets… It sickens me to the quick … but it “IS WHAT IT IS”.

  2. How about the rescue shelter in Washington state or I think they have one in Tennessee now that takes in senior dogs or older dogs with physical challenges? It’s not a shelter as we think but more like a senior home.
