In Donna, Texas, a pup had been tossed out with the trash. All around him were dead animals, beer cans, garbage and old tires. He didn’t stand a chance to fend for himself.

Volunteers from Dallas Dog – Rescue. Rehab. Reform rushed to save him on Wednesday morning. He didn’t stand a chance to protect himself or navigate around the canals. Covered in fleas and unable to hunt for any food inside of old trash bags, his broken legs made it almost impossible to survive much longer. Sadly, the dog would have been easy prey for the area coyotes.
He has been named Pretzel. He will now be receiving the help he needs.
