In Cape Coral, Florida the drunk owner of a dog cried to police on Monday after authorities arrived at his residence to find a light brown mixed breed dog lying dead in a field.

According to CapeCops, Korey James Potts, 23, exited his home crying stating he had shot Gordo. Officers were able to smell alcohol on the man’s breath. Potts’ roommate had seen him in the yard with a 9mm gun, took the gun and threw it into the field and brought Potts indoors. Another witness saw Potts lying near the dog in the vacant lot.

He has been charged with aggravated animal cruelty, discharging a firearm in public and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.

Rest in peace Gordo. We are sorry that a human let you down and your life was lost.

  1. Well This Putrid Bastard Should have to Dig a grave for his poor unfortunate dog with His fingernails at least 3 foot deep and Long enough for a box with Gordo’s remains to be laid at rest… It would give this Vile POS plenty of time to reflect on his OWN SELF!!!

  2. So drunk or not why did he shoot and kill his dog? His roommate better watch out or she will be next! Another POS that shouldn’t have been in possession of a fire arm!
