In Hazard, Kentucky, a dog that ran away from home was tied to the back of a car and dragged home by his owner. The Perry County Sheriff’s Office allege LH Neace, the dog’s owner, was angry at his dog for running away.
A trail of bloody paw prints led authorities to the home where the dog lived, according to WymtNews.
“The pads of his feet are affected then there’s a cut on one of the limbs,” stated Rebecca Eaves, the founder of the Arrow Fund in Louisville where the Boxer mix, now named Sinatra is currently being treated. ”
On Sunday’s update, Sinatra is reported to still be hospitalized and is receiving daily laser treatments to his paw pads damaged during the act of animal cruelty.
“Very soon Sinatra will be released to go to his approved foster home. This boy is gentle and so sweet,” Rebecca added. “We tell this handsome baby that nobody will ever hurt him again…”
