A dog stolen from his Massillon, Ohio, home in 2016 was recently discovered during a drug raid. The incredible discovery was made after a month-long crystal methamphetamine trafficking investigation led officials to a house in Beach City.

The Tuscarawas County Sheriff’s Office alerted Facebook followers to the good news on Friday:

Our office got to be part of and experience an unexpected joy today as we learned that an English Bull dog that was located in the home that was raided was reported stolen in 2016. Today, the Detective bureau and the Tuscarawas County Dog Warden got the pleasure of returning this beautiful dog to its rightful owner from Massillon. The dog was taken in 2016. Most people love dogs and we do too….our office is happy to be part of the reunion with the owner!
