Gwinnett County deputies are asking for the public’s help finding a man and a woman who allegedly left their husky on a balcony for nearly two weeks without food or water when the couple moved out of their apartment.

Warrants for the arrest of Daniel Ugalde, 29, and Nicol Moreno, 24, charged with animal cruelty have been issued.

According to AJC News, the dog was rescued off of a second-floor balcony at the Parc Shores apartment complex. Fortunately, the puppy miraculously survived after spending 13 days with no food or water. When found by Gwinnett deputies, the dog was so dehydrated he reportedly drank water for two minutes.

The husky is now recovering at the Gwinnett Animal Shelter.
