In Severn, Maryland, the Anne Arundel County police arrested a man on Tuesday for alleged animal cruelty and dog-fighting activity in. A video showed a training clip of a small puppy being attacked by a fighting dog.
According to CBSBaltimore, detectives from the Narcotics and Special Investigations Section’s Vice Unit received information concerning possible dog fighting. Kyle Murray, 26, had used his social media account to show a young pit bull attacking a small puppy. Accompanying videos showed the pit bull being “trained” for dog fighting.
After a search warrant was obtained for Murray’s home, the dog and Murray were located. Animal Control now has custody of the dog. The status of the white, small puppy is still unknown.
Murray faces charges for two accounts of animal cruelty, aggravated cruelty to animals, animal cruelty dog fighting and possessing/training a dog for dog fighting.
