Disturbing video of man throwing dog ’50 feet in air’

Authorities are investigating a disturbing video which has gone viral across social media Tuesday appearing to show a man throwing a dog “50 feet high in the sky” in Carson. The video was posted to Ring’s Neighbor’s app and showed a man picking up a lifeless dog laying in the middle of the street.

According to the person who uploaded the video, he confronted the man who said it had been his dog and the pet had been dead.

The video was filmed in the 4000 block of S. Santa Fe Avenue and does not show the dog allegedly being thrown, but it does show the man walk into the middle of the street and pick up the lifeless dog by its back leg.

Police stated a person who saw the video filed a police report, and according to Fox News, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Carson Station were able to identify the man in the video. It is believed the dog was dead at the time the man threw it. Animal Control have since removed the dog’s body.

Anyone with information about this distressing situation is asked to contact the LASD Carson Station at 310.830.1123.

Rest in peace poor pooch. Whatever happened to you wasn’t fair.
