Teens abused sheep with bricks

Despicable kids pummeled sheep with bricks, causing severe injuries

A group of despicable kids in the United Kingdom were caught abusing innocent sheep in the town of Gosport. As reported by Metro U.K., teens between the ages of 13 and 15 admitted to the cruel crime, which involved bricks being hurled at sheep who were grazing on the Alver Valley nature reserve.

The abused sheep suffered horribly – their injuries included horns being snapped off and severe eye damage. In fact, one sheep was so seriously injured that it lost its eye completely.

According to the news agency, the abuse went on over the course of several days and the kids involved also laughingly chased after the terrified sheep with sticks.

The group of teens, including three boys and one girl, admitted that they had caused unnecessary suffering to protected animals. Their punishment was not overly severe however. One boy and the 15-year-old girl received a 12-month referral order, while the 14-year-old boy received a 12-month youth rehab order. The youngest boy was given a nine-month extension order in addition to an existing three-month referral order, and all of the kids were ordered to pay costs and compensation.
