Desperate situation for sick dog

Desperate situation – young dog sick and in need of help at busy animal control

A young dog at a busy California animal control agency is in desperate need of help – the two year old Belgian malinois is sick and he needs to be rescued. The dog, known only as “Dog #A1516282” has been at the Riverside County Animal Control facility since April 25 and right now, he is ill with an upper respiratory infection.

On Saturday, the Facebook page created to bring visibility to the homeless dogs at this facility wrote:

** SICK! Needs out ASAP! **

Status: RED

#A1516282

I am a male, brown and black Belgian Malinois.
The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old.
I have been at the shelter since Apr 25, 2019.
My stray holding period ended on 04/30/2019 and I am now available for adoption.

In a video taken of the dog, it is clear to see that he does not feel good. He is lethargic, barely raising his head, and he has discharge coming from his nose. He needs to be out of the facility as soon as possible.

Please help “Dog” by sharing this article, with his adoption information.

Heaven forbid one of these “shelters” spend any time or money treating an ill dog. Just euthanize, it’s much easier than giving some antibiotics. I will keep this poor dog in my prayers and hope he gets out in time.

Will donations help? This sweetheart deserves a chance to get well and find the loving home that deserves him!

I pray that Saint Francis looks after this precious treasure…….

The horrific situation leaves me speechless……. Pure Evil to ignore a suffering animal…… This poor guy desperately needs veterinary care. I fail to understand why he isn’t being treated for his ailment……. it seems to me that an obviously sick animal has little to no chance of adoption. It’s absolutely disgusting and awful that supposed animal care professionals can just ignore his suffering…….

I hope a local rescue group can save him.

I am wondering if they killed this dog, TOO! We may be donating to help them KILL the animals. Many of us are tracking what is happening to their dogs.
