Depressed shelter dog knows no one is looking for him

At the San Bernardino City Animal Control, a depressed shelter dog knows no one is looking for him. Visitors pass by; no one looks at him nor does he even bother to lift his head up anymore.

When the seven-year-old brindle pooch arrived, he was happy – as if he was on an adventure. His intake photo show his exuberance and curiosity. And now, more than two weeks later, he knows no one is interested in meeting him. He doesn’t even have a name.

His advocate, Lois Chisholm posted his photo and has asked the social media community for help. Her heartbreaking words echo this dog’s nearly hopeless fate:

“Some of them just know. They know no one is looking for them. They know visitors aren’t interested in even meeting them. They watch as children with parents run past their kennels in search of fluffies and puppies. It’s too bad that dogs like this angel  don’t get that chance. They tend to be the best dogs, too… A child’s best friend is still waiting for a chance to his life.”

Please share his story with approved rescue organizations, friends and family. Sharing saves lives.
