A cruel owner attacked his dog and didn’t stop scaring the pup until he dangled it off the edge of a bridge in Runcorn, England. Scott Doran, 30, scared his Staffordshire bull terrier so much during the assault that the dog defecated out of sheer panic.

According to the Liverpool Echo, Doran was caught on closed circuit television in March 2016 where he was seen attacking the brindle staffie named Coban. The RSPCA began an investigation of the “sustained and violent attack” on the dog. The video shows Coban off leash checking out the neighborhood. When the dog spots a family walking, he ran up to them – happily with his tail wagging. That’s when Doran lost his temper and initiated a brutal attack on the pup.

In the video, Coban can be seen cowering to the ground,  but Doran picked him up and punched him in the face while holding the dog by the scruff of his neck; feet off the ground and being violently shaken. The torturous treatment went off view of the camera, however an eyewitness stated Doran continued to beat the dog to the point where Coban defecated in utter fear. And as if that wasn’t enough, Doran dangled the dog over the railings of the footbridge.

Doran had been a fugitive for two years and was finally apprehended in July 2018 after intentionally evading authorities. He has since been convicted of causing unnecessary animal cruelty. He has been sentenced to 12-months of community service, fined $600 and has been ordered to complete an anger management course. In addition, he must participate in a rehabilitation program and is banned from having any pets for the next five years.

And the good news – Coban was seized the day after the attack and has since been re-homed by the RSPCA.

Okay this is pretty funny! I’m sure the dog is perplexed.

Barking bird!

  1. Please do more to this vile monster so he will always remember what he did to this dog. Do the same to him where he defecates on himself and beat him up where he is in pain for a long time. Also longer jail time and never being allowed to own any pet.

  2. These abusers need jail time, not community service and banned for life from owning any animal! When will the courts start handing out stiffer penalties for animal abusers, not a slap on the wrist!

  3. The UK is pitifully inadequate when it comes to protecting animals.
I’d like to see this monster hung, drawn & quartered.

  4. How is the poor innocent defenseless dog? Who gives a F … about the disgusting subhuman SCUM who received nothing more than a “SLAP ON THE WRIST”!

  5. How on earth did it take authorities so long to catch the perpetrator? They should’ve been able to track his scent after his abuse of the dog and the poor dog’s involuntary reaction. The penalties are a slap on the wrist, though I’m thankful he can’t be near animals for five years – but it should be for life. Thank goodness the poor dog has been rehome and is living in safety now.
