Creative man transforms old tires into beautiful pet beds

A young man in Brazil has captured the attention of the world with his creative transformation of old tires into beautiful pet beds.  Amarildo Silva, a 23-year-old cashier, has been gathering old, discarded tires from landfills and the streets and making them into comfortable beds for cats and dogs.

After gathering the tires, Silva gets to work cleaning them up before painting creative designs and sewing up soft bedding for the interior. The finished product is both beautiful and durable – a fabulous way to re-purpose something that was unwanted trash before.

My only concern might be with the toxicity of both the tire’s composition and the paint products… if an animal were to chew on them?
