Who could imagine spotting a Chihuahua with deformed legs crawling down a south Los Angeles street?
“I would definitely break down crying and at the same time wanna lose it because you know D*** well his ‘person’ can’t be that far away, and you know D*** well if they wanted to find him they could,” a volunteer from Friends of South Los Angeles Animal Shelter posted on the organization’s Facebook page.
The ten-year-old pooch, named Rico did have a microchip, and the shelter did contact the owners by both phone and mail. Tragically, no one ever responded or showed up to reclaim their little one.
“Sooo, did you just open the door, let him out, and wish him well?,” a very sad volunteer asked.
Rico needs a home. Check out his video:

Precious friends
I am crying as I write this……. I am absolutely heartbroken that someone is so cruel to a loving precious little treasure like Rico……. Poor precious treasure……. I just want to snuggle him and reassure him that the world is OK…….. How can anyone be so cruel to a loving family member when they are most in need of love and support???
My husband and I have extensive experience with paraplegic and quadriplegic animals (people too)…..
Special needs simply means doing some things differently. In addition, developing a network of experts who can help when there are care challenges, makes life better too!!!
I wish I were in Southern California so I could help this precious little treasure…… He absolutely deserves to go to a home where he will be treated as a beloved family member…….
Pure Evil POSs were cruel to Rico……there are reserved spots in Hell waiting where they will burn forever for their cruelty……. find them, lock them up forever and lose the keys…… Should only leave prison in a pine box…… Hope they die horrible deaths alone (unloved), afraid and in awful pain……
According to the Facebook page, this precious little treasure was saved and is in a rescue group!!!
Wow! All that’s missing are his angel wings! Please give this little darling the loving home he deserves!
SW Love & Hope Tucker, GA – wish he was in Georgia I sure would care for this little fellow
