This month, a boy allegedly “hacked” his mother to death with a cleaver after she killed his pet dog. According to the Daily Mail, the shocking incident took place in China’s Jiangsu province on March 16.
The 13-year-old boy, identified as Shao, allegedly attacked and killed his 37-year-old mother, Yang Yan, after she threw his dog to its death in front of him.
A person familiar with the family described the victim as a “strict mother” and recounted how the tragic incident allegedly unfolded:
The boy loved playing with his pet all day long, so the angry mother threw it to its death in front of him.
After the authorities found Yang’s body, they searched for the boy – later finding him at a 24-hour restaurant where he had been sitting for over a day. The boy was taken into custody, but under Chinese law, he is too young to be held criminally responsible, reports Meaww news.

I can understand.
“Strict Mother”? if she could throw her child’s dog and kill it in front of him, she sounds beyond “strict”. It sounds like her son is a chip off the old block. What a tragedy, and it sounds like this 13 year old boy will get away with murder!
Nobody and I mean NOBODY is going to get away with murdering my dog so I completely understand why he reacted the way he did. This boy is going to be traumatized for a very long time.
Ok this is going to sound weird but a female with that amount of cruelty shown to her own child deserves to be dead. That poor dog was probably the only thing that gave the boy any kind of love and affection. And for her to kill it in front of him she deserves what she got. Sadly this is going to traumatize the boy. He didn’t murder his mom – he reacted to her murdering the only love he had.
