Blind senior dog waiting to be rescued from shelter

A blind senior dog is waiting for his chance to be rescued at a busy California animal control agency. The nine-year-old Cocker Spaniel is being held at the San Bernardino City Animal Control in a medical kennel – because he is blind, he has been labeled “rescue only.”

Without a doubt, this older boy is confused and frightened by his current situation. Imagine being locked away in an a kennel, surrounded by unusual smells and sounds and unable to see anything. Imagine longing for the sound of a familiar voice, or the touch of a familiar hand, but finding only strangers around you. That is the reality for this senior dog.

You can help change his fate by sharing this article, with his adoption information. A reputable rescue group needs to be found to take this blind dog in and find him a responsible and loving new owner.
