Beautiful, sad, unwanted dog waits alone at shelter

Months have slipped by and it appears that a beautiful young dog, held at a busy Texas animal control agency, is completely unwanted. The sad girl, kenneled at the Pasadena Animal Control and Adoption facility, is Storm and she has been homeless since November.

Storm appears to know that nobody wants her – who could blame her for feeling hopeless after so much time has passed?

Storm

An advocate writes:

Her name is Storm, she’s such a beautiful girl, my heart went out to her when first saw her in the holding area. She was curled up in her temporary kennel too. I don’t know her story but I do know she’s not happy where she is. She’s needs out of the shelter, she needs to be in a home, with a warm bed and less stressed enviroment. She needs a family to tell her they love her and she’s safe. Can you be Storm’s family? Even a temporary family to give her love until she finds her forever family?

An update in late December revealed that nobody had expressed any interest in Storm…by the first week in January, there were some out of area applications. Shared on a Facebook page which networks on behalf of homeless dogs in Pasadena is the latest information:

UPDATE 1/6/19 She is still in the shelter. there are a few long distance applications the shelter is working through. They are trying to find a foster home for her to get her out of the shelter while they work through the applications. If you can foster please email the shelter.

Storm is gorgeous and so sweet. She has professionally trimmed ears which mean she did not come from fight ring. Fighters don’t pay to have ears trimmed. She is dark silver color, near black. Looks to be a real softie family dog.
