Badly neglected shepherd hidden in quarantine – will anyone try to help?

Update: No longer available for adoption – he is being held as part of a cruelty investigation.

A badly neglected German shepherd is hidden in quarantine at the Carson Animal Services facility in California. The seven-year-old dog appears to have lived his entire life without proper care.

The dog, named Ace, has been at the animal control agency since October 22 – is there anyone who will be willing to step up to help give this dog the love and care that he desperately needs? Ace’s fur is missing over much of his body and his skin is dark and cracked. It’s obvious that Ace needs a great deal of care to recover from his pitiful condition. But imagine how handsome he will be with proper nutrition, medication, and most of all – love.
