The authorities in San Angelo, Texas, are investigating a man who was caught on video hitting his frightened dog. On July 3, someone attending a fireworks show captured footage of a man who was yanking a frightened German shepherd through the crowd, and at one point, falling to the ground and repeatedly hitting the dog.
In a Facebook post, Naomi Carrasco shared two video clips and writes:
Received this video taken last night at the pops concert. This is a sorry excuse of a dog owner. Many of you may have seen him walking his dog downtown. I have. And as you can see, this dog has been treated with cruelty and needs to be taken away from him. I’m willing to take the dog in and give him a loving home. Calls and complaints have already been made to law enforcement. So if you happen to see him, call the non-emergency number.

Who would subject a dog to a fireworks show and not expect it to be restless and JUST PLAIN TERRIFIED! Please do whatever it takes to save this INNOCENT DEfENSELESS DOG FROM THIS LUNATIC!
Not to smart obviously, bringing a dog to a firework show is a DUMB IDEA !
What would I do if I saw this behavior?! Certainly not offer this idiot mutant a hand up. I would have called 911 to report the incident and placed him under citizen’s arrest for animal abuse. Also would have given him a verbal lashing regarding what he did to his dog. At my age (almost 69), I don’t hold back like I used to when I was younger.
Wow. I’m so very happy this man has been identified, this poor dog will be OUT of this abusive hell that it exists in. If I was witness to this, cops would be called as I confronted this man LOUDLY. Took his dog away from him. I’m sure he’s a drug addict. Or has mental issues. That is not with standing on this. People should have reacted IMMEDIATELY!
