An animal welfare agency in Louisiana is seeking answers after the discovery of a deceased dog, apparently dragged to his death. On Friday, the Webster Humane Association alerted Facebook followers to the disturbing case, which is eerily similar to a prior dog dragging incident in the same area.
The agency noted that this dog died just six months after the initial dragging victim, Faith, was found:
Today, six months later to the day, this boy suffered the similar fate. This happened in the early morning hours today (3/29) in the same general area as Faith.
The agency is pleading for answers. The first dog, bound in rope and duct tape, was dragged down Interstate 20, in the middle of the afternoon. The animal welfare agency wrote:
Someone saw something. Someone knows something.
Adding the offering of a reward to solve these cases:
We have offered and are still offering a $5,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible. This has to stop!
