A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever put a caged puppy in the water. According to the Daily Voice, a 10-week-old female golden retriever puppy. and a crystal vase, was found inside of a cage that was submerged in water off Bonter Road in Milford, New Jersey.
The Greenwood Lake Animal Hospital reached out to the public with images of the deceased pup and a request for information:
Please call Detective Eric Darnsteadt at West Milford Police 973-728-2801 if you recognize this ~10 week old puppy or crystal vase from garage sale. Found off Bonter Road on Oak Ridge side of town. Dr. Louer completed a preliminary physical examination.
A full necropsy will be conducted on the puppy at the NJ State Forensic lab.
Last Resort Rescue hopes to find whoever is behind this cruel incident and a $3500 reward is being offered for information. The rescue group has dubbed the deceased puppy Jenny and is promoting #justiceforjenny on social media.

The disgusting cruel POS who murdered this precious little treasure MUST be found and locked up forever (only way to keep all of the rest of us safe), only leaving prison in a pine box.
