On Sunday, the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter acknowledged an anniversary that nobody was celebrating…two years that Wilson has been homeless. The four-year-old dog has spent half of his life at a shelter…waiting for someone who will find him worthy of adopting.
The shelter writes:
Today is an anniversary that no one is celebrating.
Wilson has been here for 2 long years and it’s time for his forever home!
In May 2017, Wilson was picked up as a stray. At the time, he was a “skinny, hungry, scared boy who was covered in ticks,” but today he is healthy and in desperate need of a family of his own.
Please help this deserving pooch find a family by taking a moment to network this article! Wilson has waited long enough.
