After more than 2 months, eager for love dog is on the ‘E-list’

After months at shelter, dog is on the E-list

After more than two months at an Arizona animal control agency, an eager for love dog is on the dreaded “E-list.” Garver, a two-year-old mixed breed dog, has been at the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control – West Valley Animal Care Center since June 25, and now he is out of time.

On Monday, an advocate writes of Garver’s dire situation:

And has a scheduled Elist date💔💔🆘

😢☹️ Garver’s body tells the story of a very hard life 😧😩

Garver has been at theshelter for over two months and he is deteriorating in his kennel😢. He is only 2 years old but parts of his body look like 6 years old 😩. He has callused legs and a scar on the back of his left ear. He is a very sweet boy but he is having an extremely difficult time in his kennel.

He is playful and loves people. He got along with the female he came in with but seems nervous and stressed around dogs here. A dog introduction is recommended but he may need time to decompress once out of the shelter before meeting dogs. He does like to cuddle. He does know sit.

A video taken at the shelter shows Garver’s desire to be near people, and a tail that non-stop wags.

Please consider taking a moment to help Garver beat the odds which have been stacked against him.
