Adam’s abuse and neglect in South Texas need not be explained in words; his photos and the empty and helpless look in his eyes tells his entire story. Only two-years-old and barely weighing 25-pounds, the Boxer’s suffering has been going on for an extended period of time.
On Friday morning, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC reached out to the shelter and offered to help.
“The abuse and neglect has spiraled so out of control that Adam is now in serious and alarming medical condition,” Stacey Silverstein, co-founder of the rescue organization posted on their Facebook page.

Tragically, Adam is hairless; his skin is so hard and infected, when touched it feels like concrete. His nails are overgrown, and he is utterly helpless. This young dog has given up on life.
“Adam is just an innocent victim who didn’t ask to be born; he died want to live life like this. He deserves so much more than what he’s been dealt so far,” Stacey continued.
Adam is now at the organization’s partner veterinarian hospital in San Antonio and receiving life saving medical care.
