Abandoned, alone and weak, a three-pound Chihuahua was thrown away like trash. Her photograph tells her heartbreaking story.
“She sits in front of a store, abandoned and alone, weak and fragile, needing help. People just walk by and ignore her.”
Fortunately, a Good Samaritan spotted the shivering little senior and picked her up. Dubbed Nikki, the senior pooch needed immediate medical care. Rescue Dogs Rock NYC were asked to help; Nikki is now on her way to an emergency veterinarian hospital for treatment.

I feel so helpless here in Northern California……. I love this breed…… they are great family members……. I am crying as I write this……. I am absolutely heartbroken that someone is so cruel to a loving precious senior treasure……. Poor precious treasure……. I just want to snuggle her and reassure her that the world is OK…….. How can anyone be so cruel to a loving family member when they are most in need of love and support???
I hope she can be rehomed with a wonderful furever family for the rest of her life (however long it is). May she know love and snuggles for as long as she lives!!! Seniors are absolute precious treasures (& mostly want to snuggle and snooze)……. perfect “low pressure” companions……
I would give everything to snuggle my beloved treasure MacKitty (who passed away @ 14.5, waaaaaaay too soon from liver cancer)……
There are special places in Hell reserved for this neglected senior treasure’s former so called family for their cruelty…….
