An animal cruelty investigation is underway after 15 dogs and puppies were found abandoned in zip-tied totes in Corpus Christi, Texas. On July 5, Corpus Christi Animal Services alerted area residents to the case:

On July 5th 2019 our on-call Animal Control Officer received a call at 330 am and responded for abandoned dogs at Bay Area Hospital; there were two totes with mothers and puppies inside and chicken wire zip tied over the totes. There was soiled newspaper, water bowls, and old dog food at the bottom of the totes. On the side someone had written “Found on the street, give them a good home thanks!”

According to the animal welfare agency, more dogs were found at another location:

There was a second location called in at 723 am at Century 16 movie theatres. There were six adult canines contained in a tote within a wagon, and a tarp over the top.

The second batch of abandoned dogs was found with the same message at the first…

Anyone with information about this cruelty investigation is asked to reach out to Corpus Christi Animal Care Services at 361-826-4630.

According to Focus on Furever – the abandoned dogs and puppies were in poor condition, but a rescue group has stepped up to help:

CCACS picked up all 15 animals who were in bad shape. Nails that are an inch long, bodies burned from laying in urine, mange, Heartworms, and intestinal parasites.

Thankfully a rescue stepped up and is taking all 15 of these precious lives.

Thank you FurEver United Rescue.

The rescue is accepting donations for veterinary care.

TEXASS AGAIN!! Thank The Hoarder didn’t Kill them : So I hope the RESCUE or So- Called Shelter of This Texas Community has “What is Called Compassion and Dedication ” in helping these little helpless animals Find Homes instead of MASS EUTHANIZA Which I Suspect is Already PENDING!! For SHAME ON This State That should Be Better at Defending the Lives of the helpless Of Which Governor Abbott Could Care Less About Finding Funding For!!!

I can’t believe how cruel people can be to helpless animals…… I am very thankful that these precious little treasures are safe and hopefully will find new furever homes where they will be treated as beloved family members…….
Whoever abandoned these precious little treasures will burn in Hell forever for their cruelty……..
