Youngsters kick and kill mallard duck in brutal act of violence while laughing

Investigators for the RSPCA in Roundhills, Waltham Abbey, Essex are searching for three school boys – aged 11-13, who were seen attacking a drake mallard duck in what has been described as a “disgusting act of violence.” A passerby motorist stopped and confronted the youngster, still dressed in his school uniform, as the heartless kid kicked the bird to death before throwing its body into a neighboring garden.

According to the Hertfordshire Mercury News, RSPCA Inspector Rachel Smith called the torture of the duck “a barbaric attack on a defenseless duck.”  The organization has a good description of the boys and is hoping the public can identify them. The boy kicking the duck is white, with short brown hair, a slim build and was wearing a school uniform of dark slacks and a white shirt. The two other boys are of similar build, similar age, were wearing blue tracksuits and riding bicycles.

By the time the driver saw what was happening and went to give the bird aid, it had already died.

“The male mallard duck suffered extensive damage to his head, throat and face before he died as a result of this disgusting act of violence,” stated Inspector Smith.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the RSPCA at 0300 123 8018.

good grief, the world over, kids and adults are going crazy with all this cruelty., not only to these poor animals, birds, but to each other.
that is the problem, all these folks who don’t believe in Jesus and the 10 Commandments, they figure they can do what they want and somehow they are not responsible for these vicious acts. Karma for those boys, and don’t someone tell me they little bastards didn’t know the difference!

Will the authorities care enough to investigate? Will the courts care enough to meet out a sufficient punishment?

Do the same to these 3 “kids” and let their parents watch. What type of child does something like that unless they have never been taught how to treat an animal or our youth is so angry, they take it out on these defenseless animals. Please keep us informed as to what happens. There must be some type of retribution/punishment for these 3 so-called kids.

Throw the parents AND the kids in jail! No regard for life! If parents won’t start taking responsibility for their little monsters, they deserve to be punished too!

PLEASE FIND THESE DISGUSTING LITTLE TWITS!!! They are so young, you will need to hold their parents responsible for this hideous act of violence against a defenseless bird. If these monsters find this funny at this young of age, it is scary to think what they will be like when they are adults. Compassion is not LEARNED…. it is either there or it isn’t….and these 3 definitely have NONE!!!!
Please keep us updated on the status of this horrid act.

Both the kids and the parents need to be found and charged. Those kids need to be jailed for the maximum amount of time possible: they are a danger to anyone and everyone. Their parents are just as guilty of this crime, and if they’re investigated, it will probably be found out that they’re totally neglectful and / or abusive as well. They must share in the punishment. If the parents of monster kids actually had to face the consequences of their demon spawn, maybe they’d be a bit more attentive to the kind of kids they’re raising to begin with.

These punks need a severe lesson – it is apparent that they have the compassion and humanity of a rock – to deliberately treat an animal so cruelly shows that they are well on the road to being thugs – and their parents are just as guilty and need to be held responsible – the actions of these three – kick an innocent animal to death, then when caught they ran – shows they were well aware of what they did and knew it was wrong. Hold them up as an example of what will happen, no matter what the age, and prosecute these little bastards.
