In Westchester County, New York, a woman from Yonkers was caught on video throwing and kicking her 6-month-old puppy as it cowered in the corner. On Thursday, the SPCA of Westchester announced the arrest of Kiani Wright, 41.

According to the SPCA of Westchester’s press release, police received a call from a Good Samaritan on May 13 after witnessing the puppy being dragged, picked up by the back of the neck and then violently thrown over a railing in front of the suspect’s apartment. The puppy, named Pebbles became the subject of an alleged cruelty investigation. The dog was transferred to a veterinary hospital for treatment. The pup was treated for a broken tooth and abrasions that had been bleeding at the time she was rescued.

The SPCA’s HLE Unit were able to obtain a video from a nearby security camera that captured Pebbles’ owner brutally assaulting her.

Wright has been charged with misdemeanor animal cruelty. Neighbors say it isn’t the first time poor Pebbles was abused, but now the friendly pooch is safe and will be made available for adoption in a few days.

The video is difficult to watch – it is graphic and can be viewed at this link.

These kinds of people treat their dogs as if the dog feels nothing. They do feel your abuse!!!

I hope you throw this sub-human UNDER the jail. Barbarians like her do not deserve an animal of any kind. She should be banned from owning one of any kind for life.

Drag her to an open field and kick her to death! Bypass prison and send her directly to “hell”!

God bless you Pebbles and rescuers! Hope this little angel finds a loving caring home!

I hope they check out the future adopters to guarantee she gets a very good home. Lock up that abusive hag for an extended amount of time, please?

I would love to adopt Kiani Wright – it would be a lot of fun to give this bitch a taste of her own medicine – I promise she would never be capable of abusing any animal ever again. And New York State needs a damn eye opener – this is NOT misdemeanor animal abuse – this is not the first time this female ghetto rat hurt Pebbles – she is a FELONY animal abuser and needs to be treated like one – as I said let me adopt Wright – she will most definitely pay a steep price for her cruelty.

Sorry–I know I keep repeating this comment, but it just fits these situations so perfectly: First, prison–Last, “hell”! And with a little luck “hell” will begin in prison!

New York has some of the most lenient animal abuse laws in the country! Get your act together New Yorkers or maybe you just don’t care about anything other than yourselves??????
