A woman in Wichita, Kansas, is accused of a heinous act of cruelty which left a dog dead. According to multiple sources, 30-year-old Carlett D. Mcpherson was arrested for the incident which claimed the life of a dog on November 16.
The alleged crime
As reported by KSN News, the local authorities were notified that a dog was being beaten with a tire iron on the 1000 block of North Poplar. Not only was the dog being beaten, but other dogs were being encouraged to attack as well – according to KWCH News, the responding officers were able to separate the dogs and secure those who were attacking, but the dog who had been beaten could not be saved, despite being provided with veterinary attention.
Mcpherson was arrested on Saturday – the authorities are seeking another individual who may be connected to the case. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
