In Waterbury, Connecticut, a man driving a black sedan on North Main Street, pulled his vehicle over to the right shoulder of the road and drove around two other cars that had been stopped as a gaggle of geese had been crossing the intersection. Instead of stopping on the spot, Moses Wilson, 70, accelerated running over “multiple” geese and their goslings.
According to the Harford Courant, witnesses were shocked but were able to get Wilson’s license plate number enabling police the ability to locate the driver. The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection were notified by the Waterbury Police Department and have since determined
“Wilson intentionally drove his vehicle over the Canada geese as they crossed the roadway.”
Wilson told authorities he had not meant to hurt the birds and thought they had all made it to the other side of the road. At least one of the goslings died.
Wilson has been charged with animal cruelty, illegal method of taking waterfowl, taking waterfowl during closed season and passing on the right. Bond was set at $1,500, and his court date is set for June 20.

What’s with all these people having no regard for a life? I guess it’s all about “me first.” Hope he gets a substantial jail sentence so he has some time to think about what he did.
He knew what he was doing and could have waited like everyone else. Just wait until he is elderly and crossing a street and a driver can’t wait and plows him over. Disgusting selfish man to kill innocent animals like this. Keep him in jail for quite a while.
He lies! Why would the cars ahead of him still be stopped! And when he illegally over took the stopped cars he saw them still crossing he accelerated running over them killing at least one baby! For his punishment take him to a ten lane freeway and make him cross the road!!

This old fuck knew what he was doing and deliberately ran over the geese because he didn’t care – BUT other drivers did care, got his license number and turned his vile ass in – his lies won’t work, other drivers stopped, he drove around them so he could kill – he is no man, he is nothing more than a knuckle dragging hunk of sewer sludge who should be given what he gave – NO MERCY – he deserves none.
