On a street in  north Birmingham, England, the owner of a terrified pup was videoed hitting and dragging the little one down a residential street along the pavement. Footage of the disturbing situation was filmed by a concerned passer-by who contacted the RSPCA; an investigation to track down the owner of the dog has since been launched.

According to the Birmingham Live News, RSPCA Inspector Beth Boyd, the witness reported the incident on February 8 after she spotted the petrified dog barely able to move along Warren Farm Road. There she saw the man beating and then dragging the defenseless little guy.

“In the footage you can see the little golden- colored puppy being dragged along the pavement by the man walking him. He appears to be limping and holding up a rear leg. The man is dressed in blue jeans a black jacket with the hood up and trainers. The puppy is being walked on a red lead.”

The witness then described the man leaning over the cowering puppy and repeatedly hitting it. Inspector Boyd is appealing to the public asking anyone who recognizes the man or the dog to get in touch with the RSPCA by calling 0300 123 8018.

It is also worth noting that witnesses should never put themselves in danger and approach someone who could be violent. This witness videoed the situation from a safe distance and then immediately turned the evidence over to the appropriate authorities.

  1. This pinhead monster needs to be found and the poor dog removed. Animals can endure a tremendous amount of pain….it that baby is limping that badly his leg is probably broken. FIND THIS A.H. and take his pet away from him….then put him on the national registry to NEVER be allowed another pet!

  2. How can we help fight the abuse in England when we can’t stop it in our own back yard??? Let’s help America’s victims where we can.

  3. Can anyone help tell me why people video and NOT immediately call the police/backup while incidents are happening? Especially when the least that might be done is to follow them. Confused.

  4. Love these people who video animal cruelty but do nothing to stop it – what good are you? You stood back and watched an innocent defenseless dog being abused and filmed it – how about confronting this maggot? And you expect the RSPCA to do something – they NEVER do anything – they are useless – this little dog is probably dead or dying while you stood back and videoed the abuse – make a scene, scream, yell, anything to get that little dog away from that bastard – grow a backbone.
