Too depressed to stand after family surrendered
Spread the love

A dog, who obviously loved his family, is now too depressed to get up. His name is Turtle and his family left him at Florida’s Miami-Dade Animal Services facility on August 14.

Turtle’s broken heart

Turtle is not doing well at the facility – his tender heart has been broken. The Facebook page, Urgent Dogs and Cats of Miami, wrote of Turtle’s despair:

Sweet TURTLE A1968659 thought his family was taking him for a fun car ride yesterday. They abandoned him at the shelter instead 😭 This poor baby is now beyond heartbroken and so depressed that he won’t even get up. We need everyone to please help this sweet angel. He won’t last much longer like this 😭

Helping Turtle

Turtle needs to be out of the shelter – he needs to be in a home, receiving the love that he so obviously craves. The best way to help this sad dog is to network his adoption information – networking saves lives!! Please post this article to your social networking sites (Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram) and help this sweet boy find a new family.

  1. Just absolutely HORRIBLE!!!! That family needs to spend some time in those cages and see how it is to be in them. They don’t even deserve to breathe free air. PLEASE HELP this poor INNOCENT DOG find a LOVING HOME!!!

  2. I most certainly Hope that even in Florida there WILL BE SOMEONE to help this young dog find a happy and loving home…. If only the Shelter will give him THE TIME HE NEEDS!!!

  3. I just don’t get it. My heart breaks every time I see yet another senior dog left at a kill shelter. Why people? You’ve probably had them all their lives and suddenly you decide you don’t want to care for them anymore? It’s killing your dogs in every way. They are simply devastated You don’t deserve their unconditional love. Shame on you.

  4. There should be some kind of animal owning document. That if you take an animal it is for life(allowing for extreme -and id do mean EXTREME circumstances) Once you mess up, then we need regulations to stop you having the chance again-one strike and you are OUT!
