In the village of Cranfield, located in  Bedfordshire, England, the mutilated bodies of three dogs were discovered stuffed into garbage bags or just lying along a rural roadside. The disturbing discovery was made on Tuesday night by a concerned citizen.

According to the Mirror, the three  dogs were identified through their foreign microchips, indicating the dogs had been imported into Britain, according to the League Against Cruel Sports, which has offered a £5,000 ($6,926) reward for information.

“We suspect these poor animals suffered serious physical and mental suffering while being torn apart in illegal dog fights,” stated Chris Luffingham, director of the League Against Cruel Sports. “Dogs involved in dog fighting suffer terrible injuries, both in the fights themselves and at the hands of  their vicious owners. Most will die in t he ring or soon after from their injuries.”

Two of the dogs were mastiffs and the third was a bully breed. Authorities stated two of the dogs had their ears cropped, and one of the dogs had his teeth filed down suggesting he had been used as a bait dog and left unable to defend himself. Dog fighting has been banned in the United Kingdom since 1835. Tragically, not unlike the United States where it is also illegal, the heinous “sport” and horrific form of dog abuse remains a growing problem.

Report dog abuse; don’t let this happen and turn your backs on these innocent animals. Be the voice for those who cannot speak. Be their voice and save a life. Anyone with information about this horrific crime is asked to call 01483 361108 or email [email protected]

  1. WOW!!! THE HORRIFIC ABUSE OF ANIMALS IS SO RAMPANT OVER IN THE UK….JUST LIKE HERE IN THE USA!! UNFORTUNATELY THESE ABUSERS DO NOT GET ANY PUNISHMENT IN THE UK….JUST LIKE THE HERE IN THE USA!!! WHY???? LOGIC DICTATES THAT IF A CRIME DOES NOT METE OUT ANY PUNISHMENT THEN THAT CRIME WILL NEVER EVER BE SLOWED DOWN OR STOPPED AND THAT IS SO UNACCEPTABLE! WHY TAKE THE TIME TO ARREST AND CHARGE THESE ASSWIPES WHEN THERE IS NEVER ANY PUNISHMENT…..I WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND IT!! I GUESS IT IS A WAY TO GENERATE MONEY FOR THE COURTS AND NOTHING TO DO WITH COMBATTING THE HORRIFIC CRIME OF ANIMAL CRUELTY AND THAT OS COMPLETELY IMMORAL AND BEYOND WRONG!!! RIP SWEET FUR BABIES…TOO MANY SO CALLED HUMANS ARE NOTHING MORE THAN EVIL MONSTERS LACKING A BRAIN,SOUL AND A HEART!

  2. Somebody knows something about this! Speak up and get the reward! It might be your only chance to do something good. RIP pups you did not deserve this.

  3. And as par for the course, absolutely nothing will be done to bring any dogfighter to justice – the RSPCA and Great Britain’s total lack of investigation, even when there is evidence, will just allow these maggots to continue their cruelty. These dogs have microchipped so there is a way to track who had them, who sold them, and who got them – but again, this is most likely be ignored and no one will ever be prosecuted for this fucking crime – which is the norm for authorities – turn a blind eye to animal cruelty.
